I work from an eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic concepts. Providing client-centered therapy and allowing my clients to feel seen and heard is something that I’m passionate about. After serving in the United States Army, Heather graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University) in 2018. She later went on to earn a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2023. She has experience in community mental health and private practice settings working with children, families, couples, nurses, college students, military veterans, active-duty military, and more.
