Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, navigating the weight of grief, or carrying the invisible wounds of military service. I can help you find stability, clarity, and relief through trauma-informed therapy.
You don't have to go through this alone. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am here to support you with trauma-informed therapy, helping you learn skills and process trauma to reconnect with yourself and your relationships.
After serving in the United States Army, I graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University). I later earned a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University.
As an Army veteran, I understand the unique challenges that come with service, sacrifice, and reintegration. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, restore balance, and find hope even in the most difficult seasons. During my time as a therapist, I have provided therapy services in community mental health and private practice settings. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including children, families, couples, nurses, college students, and active-duty military and veterans and their families.
With a deep commitment to serving veterans, active-duty military members, and their loved ones, I specialize in trauma-informed therapy that honors your experiences and empowers your growth. Whether you're navigating the lasting effects of PTSD, adjusting to life transitions, or working to strengthen relationships, I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.
I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic Therapy to meet you where you're at and help you make real, lasting changes. I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) which is particularly helpful for trauma. We'll focus on what works for you, whether that's managing anxiety, processing grief, overcoming trauma, or simply finding more peace in daily life. We'll work together to develop healthier patterns for the future.
I am licensed in California (LMFT154353) and Ohio (IMFT F.2500516), and I offer telehealth sessions throughout both states. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and have experience providing this vital service to those in need. I am EMDR trained and I'm currently working towards certification in EMDR.
